Best Ways to Make Packing Easier

Packing is always a headache. Boxing up all your precious items just to move them, reopen them, and pull everything back out. It's stressful, messy, and it's not a fun task! We are here to help you get through this in the easiest way possible!

1. Our number one tip is to make sure you pack room by room. This is the best place to start! That way when you bring in all of your boxes to the new home, you can carry them straight to the room that they go to. 

2. Clearly label each box! We like to put which room they belong in, but we also include a list of items that are in the box. This helps with unpacking and it also helps when you're in a bind and need to find something that you haven't unpacked yet. 

3. Did you know that if you go to your local Newspaper Printing Office, you can actually buy a roll of paper that hasn't been printed on? This is great for when you wrap up all your pretty dishes, you won't be getting ink all over them or yourself! Try calling The Olympian, in Thurston County for pricing!

4. Don't forget to leave out anything that you might need before you get to the next home. Nothing is worse than packing up a room and a few days later, remembering that you need an item out of a box that is under 5 other boxes.
