☀️ Behind the Scenes of a Realtor’s Day: Summer Edition

Hey friends! 👋 It’s Theresa Brady here with Munoz Home Group—and today I’m taking you behind the scenes of what a typical summer day looks like for me as a Realtor, mom, and lover of all things local 🏡💛

Real estate isn't just a job—it’s a lifestyle. And summer? That’s prime season! Between showings, prepping listings, and answering last-minute texts from clients (and my kids 😅), every day is a little wild, but a whole lot of fun.


☕ 7:30 AM – Tea & Client Check-Ins

Let’s be real—I don’t do anything before iced tea! I start the day reviewing my schedule, checking emails, and following up on texts and offers from the night before. The summer market moves fast, so I like to be two steps ahead for my clients before they’ve even had their first sip of cold brew.


🖥️ 9:00 AM – Marketing & Listing Prep

This is when I’m editing listing photos, writing up marketing remarks, or scheduling photos or video walkthroughs. Sometimes I’m staging a home with my own personal touches (throw pillows, candles, you name it!). I make sure every listing shines—because first impressions matter.


🚗 11:00 AM – Showings & Tours

Time to hit the road! I meet buyers at scheduled showings—whether it’s a cozy rambler, a fixer-upper with potential, or that "unicorn" home they’ve been dreaming of. I come prepared with comps, local info, and snacks for the ride (yes, Realtor life = always snacking).


📝 2:00 PM – Paperwork & Problem-Solving

Back at the office or posted up at a favorite local coffee shop. This is where I dig into contracts, offers, inspection negotiations, and timelines. It’s not always the most glamorous part, but it’s where the real work happens, and I take it seriously. My goal is to protect my clients' interests and keep things moving forward smoothly. 


🏡 4:00 PM – Open House Prep

If it’s a weekend, I’m setting up for an open house! Signs out, music on, lights bright, and snacks on the counter. I want buyers to feel at home the moment they step inside.


🧡 6:30 PM – Family Time... Kind Of

After a day of hustle, I try to carve out dinner time with my family. Of course, my phone is still nearby—because in real estate, timing is everything. But I make it a point to stay grounded and grateful for the people who keep me going.
